Indications - Biotic 8 is used to change the bacteria flora in the large intestine and also to promote good digestion and intestinal health, thereby preventing colic.  There are eight different types of good bacteria, thus ensuring a balanced approach to changing the bacterial flora.  Each of these has been shown to help prevent the growth of the bad bacteria whose waste may cause chronic health problems. 

Ingredients & Special Function

• Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus caseium, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus,  Lactobacillus brevis, Bifidobacterium longum - good bacteria to promote optimum intestinal health.
• FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides) - Carbohydrate, promotes good bactera growth.   
• Kelp - Source of iodine to support the thyroid gland, and provide essential minerals in bioavailable form. 
• Slippery Elm - Soothes stomach ulcers and heals the gut. 
• Marshmallow Root - Soothes and heals the gut. 
• Flax Seed - Source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids (healthy coat) and lignans (powerful antioxidants).
• Spirulina - Matural source of several minerals, boosts energy, binds to toxins. 
• Brewers Yeast - Source of essential B vitamins.
• Citrus bioflavanoids - Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
• Protease - Digestive enzyme to help digest proteins.
• Amylase - Digestive enzyme to help digest carbohydrate.
• Cellulase - Degestive enxyme to help digest cellulose, increases the absorption of phytonutrients from plant material.

Dosage: Give two scoops with feed daily.
